Special Guest: All Blacks Legend – Piri Weepu
Piri Weepu is a 71-test cap All Black who became a national hero when he took on key kicking duties in the 2011 Rugby World Cup in the Quarter Final match. Piri was an integral part of the All Blacks when it came to performing the haka before each game and of the 71 tests, he was the haka leader in 51 of them.
Meet Duane Vermeulen: Springbok Legend and "Thor" of Rugby
Widely regarded as one of the greatest Number 8s in Springbok history.
Vermeulen earned 76 caps for the Springboks from 2012 to 2023, captaining South Africa in four Tests. His crowning achievements include back-to-back Rugby World Cup victories in 2019 and 2023, where he was instrumental in the Springboks' success. In the 2019 final against he earned Man of the Match honours against England.
Duane was also named SARU Rugby Player of the Year in 2014, Super Rugby Player of the Year in 2014, and SA Rugby Player of the Year in 2020.
